We’re delighted to have received a wonderful review from Peter Collins in the Western Mail for our concert in Llandaff Cathedral on 9th July.
The review praised us for ‘Powerfully moving performances’, and remarked that ‘the choir demonstrated why it is regarded by many as one of the best in the country. There is depth and clarity to the singing which reveals the essence of each work.’
Mr Collins went on to say that our performance of Kodaly’s Missa Brevis was ‘an undoubted highlight’ and that our rendition of Howell’s Requiem was ‘deeply felt and satisfying’.
We’re thrilled to get this feedback and delighted that so many of the audience enjoyed our performance too. A special thank to Huw and to Peter King, our guest organist for the evening. We’ll be back in the Cathedral again in December for our Christmas concert – we’re looking forward to it already!
